"Usnavi, all night you barely even danced with me..." yep, that was me! Well, not the vocalist, but remember when that sound was all over TikTok a few years ago? You're welcome.
I uploaded that 15-second clip to TikTok a week after seeing In The Heights in theater, a few months later the sound had over 1,000,000 videos underneath it and the original cast of the movie had taken part in the trend, aside from other well-known celebrities like McKenzie Ziegler from Dance Moms. In December of 2021, I was interviewed by Entertainment Weekly due to the volume of the trend. Read more below. |
